Fish farm 1
The fishfarm location lies on a small slope divided in terraces, where fishfarming pools are set. The terrace arrangement allows the downward water flow to be distributed among pools by means of channels.
The fish farm is built for teaching purposes hence you can find information about the different fish species that are raised.

Depending on the specie, some pools might have also vegetal species that provide with shade and protect fish from excessive isolation. The vegetal formations also try to imitate natural habitats. For the correct development of breeding species, when the pool’s led has no vegetal layer, there are portable artificial structures to shade the water.
The fish farm is designed as a space for exhibition and training. Special attention is paid to autochthonous species of the Iberian rivers. The aim of this fish farm is not the industrial production, albeit fish are sometimes used for restocking and natural conservation.
