Mainly intended for naval officers from Spanish-speaking countries
The Study for the History of Naval Science and Technology has been established at the Higher Technical School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering (ETSIN), by agreement signed by the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and the Director of the Navy Museum of Madrid.
I am pleased to welcome all of you that, through this our Web, are willing to receive information about our School and, particularly about the features of the education and training than at present are attending to our future Naval and Oceanic Engineers, and the special features than, starting from 2010 will attend, also in our lecture rooms, the future Naval Architects, Maritime Engineers and Oceanic Engineers.
The ETSIN Model Basin has recently developed and implemented a Quality Management System in accordance to the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008, which includes the processes, responsibilities, resources, etc., established to guarantee the satisfaction of its clients and the continuous improvement of the hydrodynamic model tests quality.
