Erasmus Mundus Programme
Erasmus Mundus is a co-operation and mobility programme in the field of higher education which promotes the European Union as a worldwide centre of excellence in learning. It aims to enhance the quality of European higher education and to promote dialogue and understanding between people and cultures through cooperation with third countries.
The programme supports the European cooperation into higher education institutions through the financing of high level European Masters to allow students and Teaching Staff to study Postgraduate in European Universities and at the same time, promoting European students Mobility in third countries.
The programme awards full scholarships/fellowships to European students and PhD candidates, in addition to those already awarded to Third Country nationals.
There are, currently, around 100 Masters Erasmus Mundus, where UPM is the first in the ranking (7 Masters courses).
