Objectives

To train professionals to have:

  • The ability to undertake activities associated with the basic design (specifications, lines plan, general distribution, power requirements, structure, stability), processes of construction, repairs and conversion, and ship maintenance and inspection of work in their field.
  • The ability to design and calculate naval structures.
  • The ability to design and calculate the habitable areas of ships and marine devices and the services available in these areas.
  • Knowledge of the bases of shipping traffic for their application in the distribution of areas on a ship.
Specialisation The proposed degree includes a single itinerary or specialisation in Marine Structures.
