Objectives The general objectives of the degree have a primarily professional orientation, as students specialise in an area of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) at the same time as they are trained in scientific aspects and general concepts, enabling graduates to enter the workforce in a company or institution and to continue academic and professional training throughout their lives.
General objectives
  • To create, develop and manage projects to design, devise, implement and use telecommunications networks, services and applications.
  • To undertake, manage and monitor Telematics Engineering Projects.
  • To design and use public and private communication services and networks in accordance with existing network structures and their future developments.
  • To specify, design, plan, maintain and implement switching elements and protocols which allow users to interconnect through a variety of transmission media.
  • To design, plan, install, manage and maintain computer-based communication networks.
  • To set up telematic network-based services and applications.
  • To carry out and administer software projects.
  • To plan, organise and technically manage telematic services.
  • To manage, administer and advise telematic service companies.
  • To take part in Research, Development and Innovation projects in the area of telematics.
