Presentation

This Master in Development of Applications and Services for Mobile Devices serves as an extension of the various degree programs taught both the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de sistemas Informáticos (ETSISI) and the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería y Sistemas de Telecomunicación (ETSIST), allowing students achieve high specialization in one of the most popular technologies today from the professional sector as is the development of applications for mobile devices, an emerging area with different branches within the information technology and communications sector. The aim of the Master is divided between the technologies taught in both schools as it has a strong component of programming along with some components of network services and hardware systems on which these services are implemented. In this sense the synergies that can occur between the professors of both schools participating in the program are of great value and allow walk the line to have dual degree programs at both undergraduate and master. The participation of both schools also generates a high added value for the Master and which includes two of the key players in the information technology and communications sector. Each school provides specific capabilities within their area of specialization, fully complementary and essential when train students in the field of application development for mobile devices, encompassing areas such as software development, hardware or communications Internet. Departments UPM participants in the Master are: Department of Artificial Intelligence (DIA) Department of Information Systems (DSI) Department of Telematic Engineering and Electronics (DTE) Department of Signal Theory and Communications (DTSC) and Department of Topographic Engineering and Cartography (DITC)
