UPM will improve the recruitment of post-doctoral talent coming from the Ramón y Cajal and Juan de la Cierva programs in their 2017 call
UPM is fostering the recruitment of promising post-doctoral researchers, and will offer a number of upgrades to recipients of a fellowship in the 2017 Ramón y Cajal or Juan de la Cierva programs.
The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), within the framework of its policies for attraction and consolidation of post-doctoral talent, is fostering the recruitment of promising post-doctoral researchers, and will offer a number of upgrades to recipients of a fellowship in the 2017 Ramón y Cajal or Juan de la Cierva programs.
Regarding Ayudas Ramón y Cajal, UPM will increase the annual salary of active recipients in €10,000 (gross cost to employer), besides the recipients will be able to apply, at the end of the contract, for a Profesor Contratado Doctor position, with salary and responsibilities equivalent to the Profesor Titular de Universidad position.
In the case of Ayudas Juan de la Cierva Incorporación y Formación, UPM will increase the annual salary of Juan de la Cierva Incorporación y formación recipients in €6,000 and €3,000 respectively (gross cost to employer). In addition, the recipients will be able to apply for vacancies at the level of Profesor Ayudante Doctor for the consolidation of talent.
Finally, the recipients of both Ayudas Ramón y Cajal and Ayudas Juan de la Cierva Incorporación y Formación will be authorized to be the Principal Investigator of research projects, whenever this is allowed by the specific funding agency, to carry out collaborations in teaching and to apply for UPM grants and research prizes, among others.
