Human¿s visual system is able to analyze spatial relations among items in the scene, helping the reasoning and decision processes. How can machines achieve similar capacities? The answer to such question remains at present unknown. One of the most ambitious objectives in Computer Vision is to give a reliable description about what is happening in the scene under video-surveillance. Different approaches to the mechanisms in human vision responsible for the human behaviour process have been proposed in the literature. This paper aims to classify and compare the most important techniques for behaviour understanding as well as their variants and combinations. | |
