Abstract
Vickers microhardness (MH) is a well established experimental technique for the mechanical characterization of polymeric materials. Depth Sensing Indentation (DSI) is a method closely related to MH determination that yields a more detailed informat ion about the indentation process because the load-penetration curve is continuously monitored. However, DSI has been scarcely applied to the mechanical characterization of polymers.
