| The firts steps of the cement hydration are critical to the development of the mechanical and durables properties of the construction materials. Usually, these steps are analyzed only by some physical properties, as the setting time and the head of hydration. Other analytical methods are based on the instrumental techniques, like X-ray. but these test methods need a special sample preparation and special equipments. On the other hand, it is not possible to apply these methods in-situ. The use os non-destructive techniques permit to apply its in-situ, using specific sensors to monitoring the behaviour of the material during de firts steps of the hydration. | |
