Abstract
In spite of the advances research in automotive technology, and the improvement of fuels, the road transport sector continues being an important issue, since the increase in transport demand offset the effects of these technological improvements. Due to this, raises the question: ¿what combination between technology and fuel is more efficient from the stand point of energy and green house gas emissions (GHG) (which measure unit is grams of carbon dioxide equivalent (gCO2 eq.)) and to respond to this question it is necessary to carry out a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in order to identify the best alternative.
