| The remarkable growth experienced in the People?s Republic of China since the opening policy in 1978 led by Deng Xiaoping has been the subject of intense debate among economists and policy-makers all over the world. This growth has surpassed all records and has become an important subject of analysis in order to explain such an outrageous economic development. With an average annual real GDP growth rate of 9.8% and an average annual real GDP per capita rate of 8.7% in the last three decades, China has experienced one of the fastest growths ever seen, and it is widely spread the term ?Chinese miracle? to refer to this incomparable event. There are many authors who doubt of the accuracy of this rate, but it is clear that China?s economic growth has meant to a new economic order, where China has gain a decisive role and relevance in the world trade | |
