| Next generation mobile networks and technologies will support renewed media markets where main opportunities lie in the provision of ubiquitous broadband connectivity, applications and content. Within this framework the chapter reviews -and briefly discusses- upcoming mobile services, the demands of users, and the impact of the latter on the technical requirements of the network.
