Abstract
Three ring high tilted (orthoconic) antiferroelectric esters have been synthesized. Their mesomorphic properties were tested by means of polarizing optical microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. The helical pitch was estimated with the selective reflection method. The multicomponent antiferroelectric orthoconic mixture with long pitch containing these compounds have been also formulated and characterized.
