| Two of the most relevant Spanish sportsmen, Alberto Contador (cyclist) and Marta Domi?nguez (athlete), were involved since 2010 to 2012 in two cases related to doping. This text will analyze the treatment that both cases have received by a Spanish newspaper and how these two sportsmen have been different portrayed according to issues such as economics, politics, presumption of innocence, type of sport and privacy. In addition, the editorial line of the newspaper will be discussed as consequence of the public impact of both cases have and the international image portrayed by the Spanish sport. | |
