In this research for the CO2 capture a dynamic model has been used utilizing alkanolamines for the absorption. Between the gas and liquid absorption, if the mass transfer process is not only a concentration difference, there is a chemical reaction, calling the mass transfer phenomenon as chemical absorption. The calculation of the chemical absorption rate will be performed according to the established model. Therefore, if we use a different model of chemical absorption, we may obtain different dynamic data. The zwitterion mechanism is a reaction mechanism for the carbamate formation between CO2 and a primary and secondary alkanolamines. The results trend at different temperatures agrees with the literature data so we can conclude that if we increase the temperature, the intrinsic reaction constant will be higher. | |
