Abstract
Strict technical quality assurance procedures are a sine-qua-non for PV plant bankability. When large-scale, of the order of MWs, PV plants are concerned; this is typically accomplished in three consecutive steps: Energy yield estimation forecast., Reception tests campaign, and Analysis of first year functioning. This paper will present the lessons learned from the team?s experience of PV quality control testing over the last six years. It will also discuss how discrepancies between estimated and real-time data can be resolved for each of the testing stages and show how the new test procedure and equipment can be used to greatly benefit PV plant owners and investors.
