Abstract
This paper presents a virtual laboratory that can be used to practice training on acoustic test based on international standards. This virtual environment enables us to recreate façade sound insulation tests according to ISO 140-5. The Laboratory implements basic models that allow us to recreate the sound field in front of the façade and inside the room, and to simulate the variability of measurements using uncertainty propagation methods. The Virtual Laboratory is used to provide educational support in acoustic education, helping the students to understand and apply the procedures described in the standards, allowing them to do individual practices overcoming any limitation of real world.
