Abstract
This paper presents a novel application of a combined method based on the Finite Element Method in addition to the electric field expansion on spherical harmonics. Particularly, the method has been successfully applied to the fast analysis of fuselage shapes for aircrafts and satellite. The time reduction factor obtained is greater than 6×102, whereas memory requirements go down to 1/6.
