Abstract
The vehicles automation is increasingly becoming more important in road vehicles and this technology is being reflected in different fields such as the military environment, in order to use autonomous vehicles to perform ground missions in operational scenarios. Thus, in 2004, 2005 and 2007 took place the competition DARPA Grand Challenge, which aimed to test the technology of autonomous vehicles in military scenarios, both in off-road situations and urban areas, in order to analyze adapting this technology to the needs of the U.S.
