| The field of atomic physics in hot plasmas deals with the interactions of electrons and ions in an ionized medium and the radiation emitted from this medium. The most general method to calculate plasma population kinetics and spectra is the collisional radiative model (CRM), which is based on highly detailed atomic structure, and successfully reproduce experimental data. | |
