| There are some studies that have examined the new financial sources to attract investors for infrastructure projects in Europe (Zaharioaie, 2012). However, these studies did not examine to what extent the EU aid actually influenced the success of PPP projects. The research presented in this paper intends to address this gap by defining a methodology to evaluate whether European support improves the economic performance of PPP projects. | |
