| Data from a panel survey among (non-)users of BiciMAD, the public bike-sharing of Madrid is analyzed to understand the relationship of intention-to-use and actual use of such systems (N=205). Results of a statistical test indicate that there is a moderate association. Findings indicate that a dense and extensive network as well as proper bicycle road infrastructure is crucial in the promotion of bike-sharing among non-users and occasional users. | |
