| Omnidirectional Vision for Human-UAV co-working, OMNIWORKS is a joint enabling technology development effort. UPM, Skybotix and APIAXXI will work together to develop an experiment which will combine Skybotix? micro helicopter, with a vision based sense & avoid sensor, developed by UPM and tested in APIAXXI?s facilities. The project results will allow Skybotix to develop a new product for the inspection market, on the UPM side, it will allow to gain know-how, have a workable solution and generate publications. Finally, for APIAXXI as an end-user, it will allow to maintain the leadership in the civil engineering industry, acquiring the latest know-how is the inspection technology, and will allow the company to offer a valuable OEM solution for its clients, with an extra value-added that will benefit the business as a whole. | |
