Information
Abstract
BiopsyPen is a Project which aims to develop a broadly available, cost effective reliable and compact optical biopsy tool which will radically transform the capability of biophotonic technologies for dermatology and point-of-care diagnosis. The system will include a pen-like Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) probe and an associate console on which the acquired images will be displayed and analyzed. This is one of the current key societal challenges in the dermatological clinical practice.
