Earned Value Management (EVM) is considered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) a tool of management, planning and monitoring the initial programming execution carried out in the project where applicable, determining the requirements of cost and time in order to provide information for risk assessment and opportunities. Can be said that the Earned Value Management (EVM) is a system of integrated con-trol and management that is used to assess, understand and quantify the progress of a project, in relation to the expenses it generates. With the intention of responding to the problem detected on management in the con-struction of housing projects, it is proposed the aim of the implementation of the Earned Value Management (EVM) in housing construction works in order to facilitate the management of housing construction projects. | |
