The purpose of this research is to explore how knowledge management promotes competitiveness in the dairy agro-food chain, establishing the critical variables of the process. To that end, a review of the state of the art was carried out, which allowed the identification of the substantial elements of knowledge management as a strategy capable of promoting competitiveness. The documentary study made it possible to identify authors who conceive knowledge management as a promoter of productivity and competitiveness, however, considering the current Venezuelan agrarian situation, this economist-based productivity perspective should lead to a more inclusive, inclusive methodology of factors that allow to develop the potential of the comparative advantages to transform them into competitive advantages, thus opening the agricultural sector to the world food market. | |
