The work reported deals with the effect exerted by the level of inorganic infiltration, which is a function of infiltra-tion time, on the microstructure and morphology of the resulting hybrid membranes as well as on their electro-chemical behavior in DMFCs. Thus, the different properties of hybrid membranes have been compared with pristine sSEBS and characterized in terms of water uptake, dimen-sional changes, IEC, morphology (SEM), microstructure (TGA, DMA), proton conductivity (EIS), methanol crossover and fuel cell performance. | |
