Abstract
This article describes two different PV irrigation systems. One of these is installed in Villena with a total peak power of 360 kWp able to pump at variable water flow rate. The other is installed in Valladolid and it has a total peak power of 160 kW, pumping at constant pressure. The aim of this paper is to present each system (its components and operation modes) and to do a first technical evaluation of them. Through the monitoring data collected during 2017 their performance is analyzed and they are presented some results regarding the operation and efficiency of the systems. The PR is 0.65 to Villena?s system and 0.57 to the Valladolid?s one. The hydraulic PR are 0.43 and 0.42, respectively.
