Abstract
The magnetic structure of TbCu2 NPs has been determined from neutron diffraction experiments at LLB. We are investigating moment dynamics using inelastic neutron scattering (INS), with experiments very recently performed on IN6 and IN4 instruments at ILL. The analysis is complicated since there is practically no precedent in MNPs and because of the low-symmetry nature of the TbCu2 system . The last experiment carried out in March 2018, has been successful to reveal the existence of magnetic and crystal field excitations (CF) in TbCu2 NPs below 15 meV.
