The relationship between architecture and the environment contributes to the use of natural resources in favor of an energy efficient solution. Venezuela is located between 0 ° 38'53 "and 12 ° 11'22" north latitude, and 59 ° 48'10 "and 73 ° 25'00" west longitude, in an intertropical zone and with climatic conditions that are characterized by scarce variations between seasons of rain and drought. In the Andean region, climatic conditions do not have many variations throughout the year; the maximum temperatures reach 26 ° C and the minimum temperatures are located at 8 ° C, depending on the altitude. The relative humidity is maintained throughout the year with percentages between 50% and 80%. The energetic simulation of buildings allows to analyze the quality and environmental demand of buildings [1]. This research contemplates the energy simulation of a typical school, using the EnergyPlus® calculation engine through the DesignBuilder software, to analyze the elements that intervene in the thermal comfort (P.O fanger indexes) of individuals in a given space. | |
