Abstract
Todays manufacturing techniques allow not only using differentiable freeform surfaces but also surfaces with creases. . Multichannelingis an optical design strategy that make use of these creases for splitting and stitching the bundles. . This additional degree of freedom the design process allows: Imaging: increasing FOV Nonimaging: Increasing collection efficiency, controlling intensity and irradiance patterns
