Cloudmanufacturing(CMfg)canmanagemassmanufacturing(MM)resourcesandcapabilities,andprovidethemasservicesviatheInternet.Undoubtedly,multiplemanufacturingcloudswillhaveabundantservicesintermsoffunction,price,reliability,location,etc.TheimplementationofsuchconceptinawiderstructurethanasingleMCrequirestoprovideexplicitdataaboutproductionsequence,machineallocation,productionparameters,qualityofservice(QoS),andseveralotherkeyperformanceindi-cators(KPIs).However,thestateoftheartapproachisbasedonprivateaccesstosuchdata,underspecificcontractrequirements,anditbecomesalimitationtotheevolutionoftheconceptitself.InparticularitbecomeslimitingwhentheCMfgsinvolvemultipleprocessownersdistributedthroughoutacomplexvaluecreatingnetwork,suchasproduction,logistics,qualitycontrol,butalso,thirdpartieslikeauditorinterestedinenergyconsumption,ormachinemaintenanceprovider,alsointerestedinmonitoringtheeffectiveusageofthemachines,etc.ThispaperwillanalyzedeeplythestructuralandfunctionalcharacteristicsofsuchCMfgsandthen,itwillproposeabusinessintelligencearchitecturethataimstoenablepublishingrelevantKPIsrelatedtointerestedprocessdata,withtheconvenientlayeroftrustworthiness.Suchpublicaccesswillenabletheassessmenttodifferentagentsatdifferenttimefrequencyand,finally,withdifferentmotivation,thusbringingpracticalinformationabouttimedelaysforthedataavailabilityandscalabilityfactors. | |
