| It aims to develop support for a world of user-centric services that are easy to create, share and use. The contributions of LSD in the project are mainly two: 1) Develop protocols and a system for scalable clustering support for J2EE. There is special emphasis in providing support with exactly once semantics across the application server and database tiers and how to provide replication for both tiers in a consistent and performant fashion. 2) Develop support for transactional web services. This effort is related to standardization in the area of web service. In particular, the support for advanced transactions will follow the OASIS WS-CAF standard. | |
