The assessment of the factors affecting people in making their modal choice in favor of bicycles is not the same as for other ransportation modes because of the bicycle¿s particular features (Noland et al., 2006). This assessment varies significantly depending on the user¿s experience: whether a daily user, a recreational user or an infrequent or non-user. A study conducted at the Madrid main university campus among a group of more than 2500 people (including students, teachers and non-teaching staff) verified these differences empirically. | |
