Currently the use of railway simulators applied to the study and operation of a commercial train line has been a step forward both in dimensioning rolling stock and signalling as well as for optimising the capacity of a railway line. The final aim of this work is to develop software in an interactive environment (Simulink) that will be didactic and user-friendly while simulating the mechanical performance of a finite number of trains on a railway line without branch lines and with an integrated protection system. All of this with parameterisable elements. The work, therefore, seeks to attain high levels of precision, efficiency and versatility so that it can be integrated into railway simulation projects within the creative development context of CITEF (Railway Technology Research Centre of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid). | |
