The importance of construction industry and especially the building sector in the global energy consumption is crucial. This is why it is proposed a set of techniques to enable decision making in construction project management to achieve greater total energy savings. The goal is to identify the elements of a generic project that significantly influence the energy consumption in the life cycle of a building. Once identified, using a priority assessment, items with higher relative importance have been selected according to expert opinion. Subsequently it is shown a qualitative analysis of the most significant elements in terms of cost and energy saving capacity, opening new possibilities for energy savings in construction projects. | |
