In this paper, the non-linear phase response exhibited by the composite right/left-handed transmission lines (CRLH-TL) is used to achieve dual band-pass response with a first-order recursive active filter topology. This line can be designed in order to compensate the phase in the feedback structure. Thus, the output signal can be combined with the input constructively at the two desired operation frequencies. The proposed design uses dual-band branch-line couplers based on stub loaded lines. These combiners, which are placed at the input and the output of the circuit, help to avoid stability problems in the feedback circuit. | |
