In this paper an equalization of the codes used in the OCDMA systems based on the Optical Fourier Transform is proposed to improve the performance of the system. By choosing different chip lengths, the energy assigned to each chip can be equalized, improving thus the orthogonality of the codes and resulting in an improvement of the system performance. Simulation results are shown for a system using a subset of Hadamard codes with length N=16 and different equalizations. | |
