Indoor characterization of Multijunction Solar Cells under non uniform light patterns

Abstract
Multi-junction (MJ) solar cells performance under concentrated illumination is analyzed. Ray-tracing simulations have been used to obtain light profiles produced by different optical systems, and these profiles have been transferred to masks. By masking the photovoltaic device, solar cell performance under different non-uniform light distributions has been evaluated. Relative losses lower than 3.3% were measured for less uniform light profiles.
