| OIV press conference on the global economic vitiviniculture situation in 2010 OIV ¿ 09/11/2010 ¿ Tuesday 9 November, a press conference was held at the headquarters of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine in Paris. At the press conference, the Director General of the OIV, Federico Castellucci presented the changes in the world vitivinicultural sector during 2010, especially with regards the area under vines and world wine production. In particular, Mr Castellucci highlighted the decrease in the world vineyard, as well as a fall in wine production in comparison to 2009. Almost fifty journalists from the national and international media, along with representatives from OIV Member and Observer States took part in the press conference. | |
