| This project aims to develop an open source platform for autonomic management of large enterprise grids. The focus of the project is on autonomic software installation, upgrade, deployment, configuration, tuning, and monitoring of large systems with thousands of sites. The contributions of LSD will be on consistent operation in the advent of failures and/or exceptional situations, atomicity properties of the operations over sets of sites, and on standard web service access (e.g. through OASIS WS-Distributed Management standard). | |
