This paper presents the design of a lumped filter using low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology. The main target is to demonstrate that LTCC lumped filters can highly reduce the size of low frecuency devices. A two order lumped filter is designed at 2.45 GHz using admittance inverters. It is done a whole characteritation of capacitors and inductors using Momentum and Multilib and finally the lumped filter is optimized and simulated with a full-wave EM CAD. It is demonstrated that results agree with EM simulations, thus, LTTC is a good option to integrate low frecuency microwave filters using lumped elements. | |
