What is Atenea?
The Atenea system allows you to formalize the registration Continuing Education in the UPM. Through this system you can enter your personal and academic information, choose your postgraduate training programs that interest to you and attach all documents that will be required to complete the procedure.
What is the use the prescription?
Prescription is a process that allows you to apply for a place on the Continuing Education of the UPM.
What requirements must I meet to pre-enroll?
To access Continuing Education the UPM is a necessary condition to be in possession of a University Title (Architect, Engineer, Graduate, Technical Architect, Engineer, Degree or Diploma), being in charge of directing the course the selection of candidates according to the knowledge and experience of each.
What deadlines do I have to pre-enroll?

What documents are required to enroll?
The documents you need to complete your registration will be of two types:
a) Personal: ID, working life, cover letter (brief statement of why you wish to study the program) and letter/s of recommendation.
b) Academics: University Title and official transcript issued by the university in which cursaste your studies. You can also attach your master's degree and certificate if you had already completed some.
Is it necessary that the documents are legalized in the pre-enroll?
In case studies of students with non-European Higher Education shall submit the documents legalized (Hague stamp or seal or stamp Consular Spanish Embassy in the country of origin) exceptionally, conducting pre-prescription will be allowed without the legalized documents. These students have a maximum period of two months from the completion of the prescription, to present the original documents at the Vice President responsible for the Continuing Educations. If these documents are not submitted, the enrollment will for all purposes be void.
What format should I attach the documents requested me?
Files must be attached in pdf format, and can have a maximum size of 1MB.

Once your registration closed you will receive an email signaling the beginning of the process. First Vice Chancellor responsible for Continuing Education analyze and validate your registration, asking you all necessary corrections. From that moment, you will be responsible for directing the course the selection of candidates according to the skills and experience of each.
When will I know if I have been admitted into the Continuing Education?
In Atenea will find information Admission to the program you have selected. However, the simplest is that you contact directly with the Administrative Secretary of your course, which will inform you of the admissions process.
