Objectives The general objectives of the degree have a primarily professional orientation, as students specialise in an area of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) at the same time as they are trained in scientific aspects and general concepts, enabling graduates to enter the workforce in a company or institution and to continue academic and professional training throughout their lives.
General objectives
  • To create, develop and manage projects to design, devise, implement and use telecommunications networks, services and applications.
  • To design, manufacture, install and supervise Telecommunications Systems.
  • To design, install and maintain Radio Communications Systems (Radio links and wireless networks, Satellite Communications, Mobile Communications, Radio Broadcasting and TV).
  • To install and maintain Radio determination and Radar Systems.
  • To design, build and test Radio frequency and Microwave circuits and subsystems and other electronic circuits.
  • To design, build and specify antennas and radiating systems.
  • To learn about procedures for treating and processing information and signals.
  • To manage, administer and advise Telecommunications Systems companies.
  • To take part in Research, Development and Innovation projects in the area of Telecommunications Systems.
