Degree in Engineering Agroambiental

Objetives

To train engineers to work in the multidisciplinary field of science and technology, capable of:

  • Developing and applying the methodologies associated with engineering to assess, improve and manage the environmental quality and use of resources in agriculture, livestock raising, agricultural industries and the rural environment, as well as the production of renewable energies in the agricultural environment, improving the quality of life of the population.
  • Assessing and managing the environmental quality and use of resources in agriculture, livestock raising, agricultural industries and the rural environment.
  • Assessing the environmental impact of agricultural production and other activities in the rural environment, and proposing and developing corrective measures.
  • Analysing qualitative and quantitative agricultural and environmental information and devising models for describing, simulating and predicting them.
  • Obtaining biomass for energy purposes through agricultural crops and coproducts, subproducts and waste and from processes of conversion into solid, liquid and gas biofuels.
Specialisation The degree includes four itineraries, following the profiles of: Agricultural production and the environment, Sustainable development of the rural environment and agricultural and environmental policies, Interventions and infrastructure engineering in the agri-environment field and Agricultural energy.
