Objectives

To train professionals with the ability to:

  • design and implement geomatic and topographical projects.
  • plan, design, direct, execute, and manage measuring processes, information systems, and use of images, positioning and navigation, modelling, representation and visualisation of information about territory on, under and above the earth’s surface.
  • plan, design, direct, execute and manage processes and products associated with civil works and building; environmental, agricultural, forestry and mining engineering; the information society and the cadastre and land registry; and regional planning and valuation in the field of geomatics.
Specialisation Students may choose from two intensification itineraries: one in the area of Topography and the other in the areas of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing; Spatial Data Infrastructure, Cartography and Geographical Information Systems.
