Requirements and application procedure for accredited master's degree programs
Students should apply via the UPM application portal, you can apply for only one Master's program in each application period (three during the first application period and one extraordinary one).
a) Students and Graduates from Spanish universities
- DNI (Spanish national ID card), NIE (Foreigner ID Number for residents in Spain) or Passport.
- Curriculum Vitae.
- The academic documents to be submitted will depend on the student's choice of master's degree (the master of science degrees offering professional certification are listed in Appendix I: MSc in Aerospace Engeneering; MSc in Agro-Engineering; MSc in Civil Engineering; MSc in Architecture; MSc in Mining Engineering; MSc in Forestry Engineering; MSc in Industrial Engineering; MSc in Naval and Oceanic Engineering; MSc in Telecommunications Engeneering. Or any dual program with them).
- Additionally, each program may have specific access requirements.

If you have completed your Bachelor's degree:

Accredited degree certificate issued by Spanish university or proof of having applied for certificate.

Transcript of records of your first degree, stating the subjects taken and grades attained. This document must be issued, stamped and signed by the academic authorities of the university of origin.
Invalid documents for academic purposes downloaded from web pages shall NOT be acceptable except for graduates from the UPM (Politécnica Virtual).

If you do not have completed your Bachelor's degree (In no case can the Master's degree be obtained without having previously completed the Bachelor's degree)

You can apply without having completed studies attaching a Student Pledge for Completion of Studies.

Official Transcript of records of your degree stating the credits passed, the credits necessary for your Bachelor's degree, and it can be reliably verified that only the Final Degree Project (TFG) remains and a maximum of 9 credits to obtain the Bachelor's degree.
This document must be issued, stamped and signed by the academic authorities of the university of origin. Invalid documents for academic purposes downloaded from web pages shall NOT be acceptable except for students from the UPM (Politécnica Virtual).Students who do not yet meet that Admission Regulations during the application period may be admitted on a conditional basis, they must prove their compliance before September 30 of the year of admission by sending the required documentation to tramitacion.master.oficial@upm.es. Otherwise, admission will be cancelled.

- Students applying for an accredited master's degree listed in Appendix I are obliged to submit a Level B2 English language proficiency certificate, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
If you are applying for the MSc in Teacher Training, the required accreditation is Level B1 in a foreign language.

Admitted students without previous studies at the UPM must pay their Tuition Fee Deposit in the prescribed dates in the Calendar. Admission will be canceled for those admitted students who do not complete the process on time.
The amount of the Tuition Fee Deposit is 250 euros, which will later be deducted from the amount of the enrollment. There will be no refund in case of not complete the enrollment.
The procedure would be:
a) Request an UPM email account
b) Access the Self-enrolment platform (Gestión de Recibos) to pay, just online with bank card.
b) Graduates of universities from European Higher Educacion Area (EHEA) countries
- Passport, DNI (Spanish national ID card) or NIE (Foreigner ID Number for residents in Spain).
It is also valid the Identity Document for students from the European Union (EU).
- Curriculum Vitae.
- The academic documents to be submitted will depend on the country issuing the student's first university degree and the student's choice of master's degree (the master of science degrees offering professional certification are listed in Appendix I: MSc in Aerospace Engeneering; MSc in Agro-Engineering; MSc in Civil Engineering; MSc in Architecture; MSc in Mining Engineering; MSc in Forestry Engineering; MSc in Industrial Engineering; MSc in Naval and Oceanic Engineering; MSc in Telecommunications Engeneering. Or any dual program with them).
- Additionally, each program may have specific access requirements.

You can apply without having completed studies attaching a Student Pledge for Completion of Studies. You must regularize your situation before July 9 sending all the required documentation (degree certificate, official transcript of records…) to tramitacion.master.oficial@upm.es. Otherwise, admission would be canceled.

Or any dual program with them) ARE required to submit the resolution on the recognition of their first degree according to which they are elegible for the UPM master's degree program. This recognition is issued by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
