Note: There is the possibility to make a Tuition Fee Deposit for admitted students without previous studies at the UPM.

 

  1. Before Applying
    Please check the application requirements becouse depends on the country issuing the university degree certificate, language, selected master's degree program, etc. Additionally, each program may have specific access requirements.
    We recommend reading your case carefully as managing the necessary documentation can take time.

  1. Access
    To access the official master's programs, is necessary have an official university degree that entitles to access Master's Degree (see the application process requirements. Its acceptance does not imply in any case the homologation of the presented title nor its recognition to other effects that for study the master's degree program).

    You can apply without having completed studies according to the UPM Regulations, although in no case may you obtain the Master's degree without having previously completed the Bachelor's degree, providing:
  • Official Transcript of records of your degree stating the credits passed, the credits necessary for your Bachelor's degree, and it can be reliably verified that only the Final Degree Project (TFG) remains and a maximum of 9 credits to obtain the Bachelor's degree.
  • UPM students in Programas Académicos de Recorrido Sucesivo (PARS) who have a maximum of 30 credits remaining, including the TFG, to obtain the Bachelor's degree.

Students who do not yet meet that requirements at application period may be admitted on a conditional basis, they must prove their compliance before September 30. Otherwise, admission will be cancelled.

  1. Admission
    It consists of the awarding of the places offered by the university to study master's courses among those who, fulfilling the access requirements (programs may have specific requirements), have requested it.
    Each Master's degree program is responsible for the admission of their students. The Admitted Applicant Lists will be published on the dates indicated in the Calendar.

  2. Tuition Fee Deposit
    Admitted students without previous studies at the UPM
    must pay their Tuition Fee Deposit in the prescribed dates in the Calendar. Admission will be canceled for those admitted students who do not complete the process on time.
    The amount of the Tuition Fee Deposit is 250 euros, which will later be deducted from the amount of the enrollment. There will be no refund in case of not complete the enrollment.

    The procedure would be:
    a) Request an UPM email account
    b) Access the Self-enrolment platform (Gestión de Recibos) to pay, just online with bank card.


  3. Enrollment
    Once admitted, the registration is formalized on-line (Automatrícula).
    New students of the Master's Degree must complete the self-registration following these instructions, it is also recommended check "What do I have to do before enrolling?". The previous processes "Activation processes of the account @alumnos.upm.es" and "Request of previous appointment" do not activate until the enrollment begin.

    It is also open the possibility of formalizing it by presenting the required documentation in the University School Secretariat or Faculty responsible for the management of the Master's program within the established period if there is a problem to perform Automatrícula.
