Abstract

| Replication of experiments is a necessary step for evolving the knowledge about techniques and tools in software engineering. Lab packages are one of the instruments used for experimental knowledge transfer. This study presents an evaluation of a lab package proposal used in an experimental replication. The objective is to validate that the proposed lab package is a better alternative than unstructured ones. The evaluation results show a high degree of completeness and usability in the proposed lab package. Positive results have been observed in efficacy and efficiency of the replication, and in the satisfaction of the participating researcher. | |
